Transferring from FACS
In a recent survey of UnitingCare Burnside carers, respondents said they valued being a part of UnitingCare Burnside's care team.
Our foster child was transferred to Burnside and so we also transferred to continue caring for her. But I must say our support since the change has been exceptional.
Their reasons for choosing to foster with UnitingCare Burnside included the diverse approach to recruiting carers, the long history of looking after children and the training opportunities. They also noted that UnitingCare Burnside values the work of their carers, includes carers as part of the care team and responds in a timely manner.
I’ve moved to an agency and my new caseworker is cool. She sometimes drives me home from school and we have afternoon tea. She gave me her work phone number to call when I need. I like that I get to have a say in what happens because I’m included in review meetings.Do you want to partner with the committed, passionate and knowledgeable UnitingCare Burnside team?
